TECHNICAL SOLUTION TO SOCIAL ISSUES
About:
Innovator’s Quest is taking up a social initiative in collaboration with Dream India Network. It aims to tackle social issues technologically which would benefit the students, the University and the Society.
TechSol would begin with a workshop organized by the NGO to introduce the students to current social issues prevalent in the country. The students would then enter into a contest where they will be judged on the basis of their technical, managerial and innovative skills by the representatives of the NGO.
The selected teams will then be introduced to the project of the Dream India Network on which they will work with in the coming months. The product would finally be launched in Karnataka via the Karnataka Government and subsequently to other states. The project would be recognized as that of the Students, VIT University and the NGO.

Selected students get recognized by the NGO and the Karnataka Government with certificates and mementos.

The winners receive a funding of Rs. 10,000 by the NGO for implementing their project.
